You can do this!

"You can do this Son," my Mother yelled excitedly, not a millisecond before I fell from my bike producing a sliced knee that required a couple of homemade butterfly stitches. "I can't do it," I bleated. "Don't ever say can't Michael," she firmly offered while scraping her child from the summer concrete.  I remember thinking to myself just how right she actually was. In essence, don't dismiss something before you've tried it and if tough, as Churchill noted....keep going!

As with anything in life, a sense of achievement arrives once you have overcome certain struggles in order to make something happen. or, know that you have given your very best, win, lose or draw. Learning a new skill is no different to the general ups and downs in life. It takes willpower, practice, and then more practice.

It could be any number of things that attracts you to stained glass. The morning light makes a sleepy dark panel come alive and your morning cup of tea tastes just that little better. Memories of church or cathedral glass, a piece you walk past every day or even a piece you've noted for sale in a store, whatever your reason, we are here to help you realize your passion and release the glass artist inside.

Our classes are chaired by myself, Michael Hockham and are 12.5 hours long split over 5 sessions. Most classes actually rack up around 15 hours as we glass nerds do like to natter! See a brief rundown of the beginner's class below and please feel free to contact us for further information. Booking can be made directly online by following the link at the very bottom of this page. If you decide to take the plunge, we'll catch you soon and please ....enjoy!
